Recently, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade volume in the first 11 months of this year reached 33 billion U.S. dollars, a decrease of 12.9% compared with last year. Export trade volume fell to 14.2 billion U.S. dollars, a decrease of 10.5% year-on-year, and imports increased to 18.77 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 14.7%. But it has not exported gold for three consecutive months.

 

From the perspective of export structure, in the first 11 months of this year, Uzbekistan's gold exports accounted for nearly half of the country,

 

From the perspective of foreign trade partners, China is still Uzbekistan's largest trading partner with a trade volume of 5.74 billion U.S. dollars; followed by Russia with 5.07 billion U.S. dollars; and Kazakhstan again with 2.62 billion U.S. dollars.

 

From January to August this year, Uzbekistan's gold exports reached 5.8 billion U.S. dollars. Among them, the largest importer is Turkey, followed by Qatar and India. The three countries' gold imports were 19.4 tons, 3.1 tons and 2.8 tons respectively.
